Joran van der Sloot's counsel, Rosemary Arnold, claimed that he will not be prosecuted on the basis of de Vries' evidence. The Aruban justice department has not arrested anyone, nor have they found the body. They're sticking to the story that de Vries has been a great help and that they've re-opened the case.
They've also released a statement saying Joran has not made a so-called 'hard confession' to their knowledge. They would be referring to the confession that de Vries has on tape. De Vries has refused to comment on the leaked transcript of his converstaion with the Aruban justice department.
American broadcaster ABC has bought the show for an undisclosed figure from producers Endemol.

I hope they crack the case but I think ABC just wants the rights for an afterschool special. I wonder who will play Natalie though, it will have to be someone seriously hot. I think either Jessica Simpson or Marie Kate Olson would be great.
